Alex Harper

As a dedicated community leader, small business owner, and lifelong Riverdale resident, I've seen firsthand both the challenges and incredible potential our city holds.

For the past 15 years, I've worked tirelessly alongside neighbors, business owners, and community organizations to make Riverdale a better place for everyone. My experiences as a local business owner have taught me the importance of fiscal responsibility, innovation, and collaboration.

My passion for education began when I served on the Parent-Teacher Association at Riverdale Elementary, fighting for better resources for our students and teachers. Now, as my own children progress through our school system, I remain committed to ensuring every child has access to quality education.

I believe that economic opportunity, public safety, and affordable housing are not just campaign talking points—they're essential components of a thriving community. If elected to City Council, I pledge to be a voice for all residents, to listen before I act, and to always put the needs of our community first.
